On February 26, 2024, House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail and Rep. Jamie Barton, alongside other lawmakers, announced an upcoming hearing titled “Removing Obstacles to Opportunity: Building Pennsylvania”. The hearing aims to address building ordinances and the cost-prohibitive issues faced by developers in Pennsylvania.
Scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, at 10 a.m., the event will take place at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, located at 125 Pine St., Tamaqua, PA 18252. Notably, the hearing will feature testimonies from various individuals, including Hon. Mike Tobash from Tobash Financial Solutions, Jimmy Moore from Lehigh Engineering, Dave Frew from Gooseberry Realty, and developer Nick Boyle.
